It’s been a long time, but my wife and I met at Tandem Escuela. My name is
Eric Mackie and my wife’s name was Mariko Chiba – now Mariko Chiba Mackie.
We were both on study abroad programs,from different countries, met in
class… and we have now been married for 11 years and have two small
children. I believe we were in Spain in 1994.
I wanted to share our story and thank you.

Dear Eric, it was fine to receive your mail telling us your love story. I am the director of TANDEM and i know we have more of such stories.
